Welcome to our Second Newsletter from the West Yorkshire Truth Campaign. First and foremost, I must apologise for this belated quarterly News Letter. Although, this is a quarterly issue, the summer has been a busy one with the Truthers. Hence, the late Newsletter. So hold and to your seats and happy reading..............

Events & Campaigning
West Yorkshire Truth Campaign has been involved in alot of campaigning and events since we last published our first Newsletter. Lets rewind and step back and look at some of the Campaigning/Events and engagement we have made with people on the ground.
~ The 9/11 & 7/7 Connection & The not-so Hidden Agenda: A Free Presentation by Ian R. Crane. This was held on Tuesday 20th March 2007 at 7:30pm at The Brudenell Social Club, 33 Queens Road, Hyde Park, Leeds, LS6 1NY. This was an average turnout - but had some good feedback from the people that attended. Every little bit helps!
~ William Rodriguez Talk in Burnley: Friday 06th July 2007 at 8.00pm - The event was organised by the 9/11 Truth Lancashire, the West Yorkshire Truth Campaign and 9/11 Truth Skipton. Held at the Hu-man Community

Arts Foundation, Wesleyan House, Clough Street, Burnley on Friday 6th July 2007 at 8.00pm. This had a great turnout with heavy media publicity beforehand. The message was well engaged with the people in the audience. Check the press coverage at:

~ Then came the 6th Anniversary of the 9.11 Attacks. The West Yorkshire Truth Campaign and Truth Leeds joint hands in setting up stalls in the City of Bradford and Leeds (8th and 9th Sep respectively). This gave us the opportunity to engage fully with the people in the streets that were busy shopping on that day. Great Weather and a great crowd in both towns. We conducted a poll in Bradford and the outcome showed that 85% of the people questioned said that "We were not told the truth and that a independent invesgation has to be made". Thanks to Zaffar Amin from the WYTC - he deliberatly targeted white, indeginious - non-Muslims to avoid a bias outcome.
WYTC put in a formal request to the BBC to air LooseChange 2 on the Big Screen in Centenary Sq, Bradford. Guess What? We were flatly rejected.
Not to mention we had a suprise visit by Daniel Obachike (eye witness at 7.7 attacks and author of The 4th Bomb)
Not to forget that this gave us the opportunity to promote a former Congresswoman and US Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney for the 9th September in Leeds University. She did a speech on Confronting The Empire. Great turnout and thanks again for the organisers off the West Yorkshire Truth Campaign
to pull this one off via the National 9.11 Campaign.

Islam radio covered the event and interviewed some members of the public and was later played on Islam Radio. Joe Skelton and Andy Sunderland came on Islam Radio to promote and give a feedback of the events the following week.

~ There have been a few arrest's in Liverpool and one in Bradford in relation to the promotion of William Rodriguez Talk's. Both arrest's came to no harm, but it gives you an idea of what we are dealing with when it comes to a Police State! The WYTC were lucky enough to contact the person arrested in Bradford and was interviewed by us to get his side of the story. The interview was widely distributed on the National Campaign forum, so people can judge for them selves!

~ And guess what?- On the Friday before the sixth anniversary of 9/11, Osama Bin Laden released his sequal video. What a suprise! Great timing indeed. He has made more sequals then Sly Stallone. Much has been writtern about the video.

~ American Hero Aaron Russo Passes Away - Award-winning filmmaker and libertarian political activist Aaron Russo succumbed to cancer Friday at age 64. Russo was best known for his films, most famous among them Trading Places and The Rose, which won three Golden Globe awards in 1980. What’s less well known is that he was also instrumental in bringing musical acts to the United States in the 1970s, including one of my all-time favorites, Led Zeppelin. In his later years, though, Russo turned to politics. In 1996 he produced and starred in a film, Mad as Hell, where he criticized many government policies such as the national ID card, the war on drugs, and government regulation of alternative medicine.
